Overview

Hygiene Operative

Kinnerton Confectionery, Fakenham NR21 8AF 

   

Position type: Permanent Full-Time 

Hours: 40.25

Shift Pattern: Monday - Sunday, 4 on 4 off, 06:00 - 18:00

Pay range: £13.09 /hour (£27,397.37 salary equivalent)

Breaks: 30 minutes paid and 30 minutes unpaid 

 

Closing Date: 24/11/2025 

Interviews will take place week commencing 24/11/2025

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleaning and housekeeping, following all site schedules, work instructions, and mould wash procedures.
  • Ensure segregation between clean and dirty trays/utensils; maintain cleaning equipment in good condition.
  • Record completed cleaning activities and report incomplete tasks for corrective action.
  • Segregate and dispose of waste, out-of-spec products, and recyclables correctly.
  • Report food safety, pest, or environmental issues and any non-conformances to the Hygiene Coordinator.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety, legislative, and company regulations.
  • Follow HACCP guidelines, job-specific instructions, and training.
  • Keep critical equipment clean, safe, and ready for operation to meet departmental KPIs.

Desirables:

  • Previous experience in hygiene or cleaning within food manufacturing or similar environment
  • Basic Food Hygiene, HACCP, or COSHH certification
  • Experience working within a Hygiene Team
