Amenity Cleaner

Kinnerton Confectionery, Fakenham NR21 8AF 

  

Position type: Full-time, permanent

Hours: 37.5

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 17:30 - 00:30.

Pay range: £12.39/hour  (£24,160.50 salary equivalent) 

Breaks: 15 minutes paid and 30 minutes unpaid 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of cleaning, housekeeping and adhere to all relevant site & job cleaning schedules and work instructions including Mould wash.
  • To ensure segregation is always maintained between clean and dirty utensils as well as  rooms  utensils are to be kept in a good condition.
  • Record completed cleaning tasks and report any missed duties to support corrective action, following company procedures.
  • To ensure effective segregation and correct disposal of out of spec product, waste, recyclable materials.
  • To identify and communicate any food safety, pests or environmental issues with Management and other team members to report any non-conformances or out of spec results to the Hygiene Co-Ordinator.
  • To ensure individual compliance with all legislative, statutory and Company regulations regarding Health & Safety
  • To follow all job specific and HACCP instruction, training, guidelines, and briefings.
  • To ensure key, critical plant and equipment is clean and available for operation in a safe and hygienic manner to contribute efficiently as part of a team to achieve the departmental KPI’s.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in cleaning within a food manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate/ COSHH certification.
  • Experience of working within a Hygiene Team.
