Shift Engineer
Kinnerton Confectionery, Fakenham Site
At Kinnerton Confectionery in Fakenham we're seeking a proactive and driven Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join our team, working within our chocolate factory where we produce chocolate products udner our award winning brands and for the major UK retailers.
As well as fixing breakdowns and carrying out planned maintenance, as an Engineer at Kinnerton you will play a crucial role in ensuring production receive the best possible service by making our machines work better to ensure breakdowns are prevented where possible. You will be someone who can demonstrate excellent communication skills and a passion for promoting high standards of work and driving continuous improvement. Ideally, the successful candidate will be knowledgeable of Food Safety standards, Health & Safety standards and possess strong IT/Computer skills, as well as experience of working with a wide variety of varying machinery and equipment.
This Position is full time, working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with start time of 6am or 6pm and finish time of 6pm or 6am (12 hour shifts) and a pay rate of £21.83 per hour.

Off-site learning will be conducted with the assigned college (Heart of Yorkshire Education Group) in line with the learning agreement.
Apprentice Engineer, Kinnerton Confectionery (Fakenham, Norfolk)
Full time (Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week)

The duration of the apprenticeship is 42-48 months and will see successful candidates achieve the qualification at City & guilds Level 3 Maintenance Operations Engineering Technician.

The Kinnerton site in Fakenham produces chocolate products for some of the biggest retail and confectionery brands in the UK and can offer you the chance to build your skills and experience. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our friendly team and help us create delicious chocolate products that are sold in leading retailers across the country.
